I wrote a comic about my experience dealing with "unintended visitors". Summer 2021.

2 of 13 images. 1. Acorn walks through the field. They hear someone talking about them "Is it really them?". They hear a rustle in the bushes and look towards the noise.
3 of 13 images. Acorn sees a deer in the bushes
4 of 13 images. Acorn looks to the side, confused. The ghost speaks a speech bubble with a picture of acorn eating a turkey leg. Acorn looks around but cannot find the source of the voice.
5 of 13 images. still confused, they accidentally trip over a rock trying to see where the voices are coming from.
6 of 13 images. they get up. The voices predict that they will bite their nails and cry. Acorn bites their nails and cries.
7 of 13 images. In their head, they imagine that they are grasping the ghost that is speaking and suffocating them. Instead, they are grasping grass.
8 of 13 images. That night Acorn tries to go to bed but the voices are keeping them awake. They see a picture of genitals inside of a speech bubble going off screen.
9 of 13 images. They lay in the bed, hands in between their legs. The ghost asks "Are you going to masterbate?". Fed up, Acorn storms past the ghosts outside.
10 of 13 images. They walk outside to the edge of a cliff and look down. "Really?" one ghost says, "You don't have to do that" another says. Acorn looks out onto the vast wilderness.
11 of 13 images. As they take in the vast wilderness they see a ghost in the sky. Acorn cries "I cant escape!" they say.
12 of 13 images. An apple tree is in the distance. They pick an apple and start to eat it, when they see a ghost with a speech bubble of Acorn eating and crying. Acorn eats and cries.
13 of 13 images. Later. Acorn reaches a small village to see their friend. In the back of the village house where acorn is eating, a ghost heckles them. Acorn lifts up some spaghetti and they say, "Gross!". Acorn just looks used to it at this point.
